Finishing Services
We offer professional custom finishing, allowing you to choose from hundreds
of different colors and looks. Choose from water base, oil base, two-toning,
paint, wax finishes or faux finishes!
The charge for water-based stain or milk paint finishing is 40% of the regular
price of the piece. Add 10% for each additional color and/or glaze coat added to
the original color.
Our standard finishing process includes: preparation of the
piece (disassemble, filling nail holes, sanding, etc.), staining, 2 acrylic top
coats, rub out and then a final acrylic top coat. All unexposed surfaces (drawer
boxes, underside, etc.) are sealed with acrylic top coat. Painted surfaces are
primed as required, multiple coats of acrylic milk paint are sprayed to achieve
full coverage and then acrylic top coats are applied to seal and protect painted
surfaces.
Every Board is a unique product of nature. Actual finishes may vary
from our samples due to natural variations in the wood.
